the lense itself looks cheap and cheesy imo. if they made a black housed housing that took like an h3 fog bulb or something, could be cool. kind of like the new gti's





but not really digging the new DIY led running light fad. leave it to audi, vw, benz.

appreciate the comments, good or bad. and honestly, i dont think the DIY led is just a fad. thats just the future of lighting technology period.

i LOVE leds, dont get me wrong, but im talking about the ones ive seen locally. hack jobbed. r8 look-a-like ebay headlights look extremely cheesy. very few ive seen, if any had been pulled off.

I would be intereste to try it out if I could see what the mounting hardware was and how hard it is to actually install myself rarer than taking it to a shop as that what usually runs my price up. That being said I would def. throw them on just to see how they look on my car personally because i like the idea.

its very simple. theres two threaded rods (bolt per say) coming out of the back of the housing. you have to drill two holes in the faux duct as the hole that is already there is you guide for the wires. i had to go throw the fender well to access the duct so the wheel had to come off. than just use the supplied nuts and washer. as far as wire you can tap into the parking lights but since i was already running some leds i have it wired to a switch in the cabin of the car.
