Default AP2 front lip

How's the best way to go about finding a lip and having it delivered painted?

I want an AP2 lip and in silverstone.

Anything to look out for? Recommendations? Where to buy it from?

I've always had great service from handaaccessories.com. Here's their link: http://www.handa-accessories.com/s2000-04ext.html

I think and OEM front spoiler is about $366. I bet you could fine one cheaper on another site, or look in the For Sale forum for a used one.

Regards,

Thanks guys. Those are three good places.

Anyone know why its so expensive? I can get a bumper for the price of the lip.

Going to check out for sale forum. Would do this new for $300 delivered but not $400. Doesn't seem like the value is there.

Thoughts?

Cost? As in wholesale?

Seems there are online honda dealers selling it for that painted. Some will deliver for almost 400.

Any thoughts on why the lip is so pricy?

rob-2,
I think the reason the AP2 OEM lip is so expensive is because it includes all the hardware and is painted to the OEM standards for gloss/reflection/etc.

You could easily get another aftermarket front lip/rear spoiler but it may come unpainted, which is another expense you'll have to incur at a prive shop.

I bought my OEM lip for approx $350 shipped a few years ago from HandAaccessories. I think you'll just have to live with that cost to be honest...

Regards,
Christopher

Hey Christopher,

I think you might be right. It's so specialized and painting costs more then I give it credit. Seems all my hobbies involve, low volume, niche, expensive gear.

Oh the wife is going to be so pleased
