Default AP2 OEM Front Lip

Would the ap2 oem front lip have any fitment issues if it didn't have the weather rubber weather strip?

I'm sure you can bolt it up fine but it'll leave a gap or worse, it'll scratch your bumper. No bueno. I wouldn't install it without that weather strip.

yah i dont really like that gray weather strip but i love the oem lip. maybe if the weather strip matched the color of the car, then it might be better.

ya that was my major concern. the one on mine came off and apparently honda doesn't offer it as a separate part #.

I have heard people using other types of stripping to replace it when their OEM one falls off. Maybe you can look around Lowes/Home Depot? In the end, I would definitely try to put something in between there.

For the person who's worried about the color match, you should note that different color lips have different color weather stripping. My white one had a light gray one. I think most of the other ones have black rubber. Mine looks fine, and you get used to the "slight" difference in color in literally 5 minutes.

Small detail, you won't notice unless you're up close and looking for it
