Is the APR lip for ap2's functional?

Default Is the APR lip for ap2's functional?

Just as the title says I am curious as to the functionality of the APR cf lip for the ap2.

Nope, its just for looks. The only OEM lip that is functional is the CR

Edit sorry I did not read the title correctly I thought it said OE lip Reading owns me

I still think its more for looks than functionality though

Sorry I mis read I thought he said OE lip.

That being said... I still think functionality of the APR lip is just theory anyway... LOL, while I like the look of the lip they did not do any wind tunnel testing or anything of that nature (too my knowledge, correct me if I am wrong). The only thing I have seen that states otherwise is a member saying he tracked his car with it, that to me is not proof .

I doubt anyone has wind tunnel tested but, APR lip combined with a splitter will definitely add some downforce for you.

And whats that combo cost shipped to 08753 cf for the apr lip and splitter

I agree, but I think you could have the same effect with just the splitter

that APR lip is IMO the best lip for an AP2. That, combined with their splitter looks like a great combination
