Default ARC intake install on my06?

Feeling kind of dumb. I have it mounted in the car, just don't know how to hook up the hoses to the box. Does anyone have pics or description on what they did?

im pretty sure you have to start drilling some holes like the others., and you probably have to replace that metal hose for the coolant with rubber ones. ho the drilling holes are for the sensor the MY06, have to take it all out, the sensor and the rubber housing(i guess that is what you would call it) hum, be careful with sensor it is very breakable, dont ask!

oh this for any basic intake from arc to K&N. it's because of the different MY06.

After checking things out more, I think I can get it to work. Just a couple of questions.

Does it mater where I drill for the sensor? Could I put it in the green rubber hose just past the intake chamber or do I need to drill into the actual intake chamber on the ARC?

Also, should I just plug the hole on the front of the intake chamber box since my06 doesn't need that? Any suggestions?

drilling should be close to the throttle body.

about the hose i have no idea, this is the basic modification that should be done to fit any intake.

and yes you do need to plug up that hole.

Yeah my plan is to drill into the grommet or whatever that connects the intake chamber to the throttle body for the sensor.

As far as those 2 metal hoses. it Appears that the upper one will be replaced with the hose that comes with the intake. It looks like I can get a longer piece of rubber hose to replace the lower one. It seems to just have the metal there to keep it away from the belt.

I will have to try and find something to plug that damn hole.

Hopefully that works. Let me know if something is wrong.

Made it work...and love the sound.

I will be wrapping it with some heat reflective tape and also will be getting a new filter for it. I couldn't pass up the deal I got on this thing, so it will work for now.

Thanks for the help.
