It looks good, but I would have found a dremel to borrow and made the cuts look cleaner. Not a big deal if you put a thin hose around the cut though.

I dont really understand the everyone else comment...LOL. You dont think you are the 1st person to cut an ARC rad plate do you? Or do you just consider it being like everyone else when people buy parts that were designed to work together

One thing when torching it be sure to clean it real good and dont touch the torched parts while its cooling or it will leave fingerprints on it and they are a pain to get off

off topic but do you have a oem hood, if so does the hood rub on the top of the snorkel when closed?

Tommy @ Go Tuning did the same thing awhile ago to his ARC plate. If you need advice, pm him.

if you cut that with a dremmel rotary tool or something similar it could be a much cleaner cut and the surrounding metal would not be bent and mangled looking

I didn't want to try and cut this with a dremel because I wasnt sure that it would cut it. I'm pretty sure the plate is titanium. I am going to clean up the edges very nicely, don't worry about that. When finished, it will look like it came with the cut out from the factory.

I didn't sell it and but one that fit the snorkel because I like the arc so much. I just see the same old set ups over and over again on s2ki and I'm sick of it. I'v never seen anyone else do this and I thought it would look good. I'm sure it's been done before and I never claimed to be the first one to do somthing like this. Just thought it would look cool and unique, that's all.

Its only a 150 part and its not the end of the world. Easily replaceable if I f'd it up so no biggie.

Can't believe there are so many haters here. Forgive me for trying to come up with a pretty unique mod
