Default Autometer gauge pillar

I was looking at the autometer and speedhut gauge pillar mounts and was wondering if anyone has one of these setups? It says they are both only for 2000-2003, but if you look up the stock pillar, the part number is the same from 2000-2009. I contacted speedhut and they stated that they haven't verified fitment on the 04 up models. Anyone see any reason why they wouldn't work?

I ordered a SOS mount and the color is off quite a bit. It looks gray compared to the factory pillar and dash.

I have the Autometer.
Perfect color match, and the vent holes are pre-cut.

I have owned the SOS and the Autometer (still do) and the Autometer is much better. The SOS unit is very flimsy compared to the Autometer. The Autometer is very sturdy and matches the interior much better than the SOS unit.

I ordered the Autometer. I'll post some pics once it is installed.

Install pictures! The fit and finish was great. The color is spot on although it is a tad more glossy than the stock color. I shaved the edge slightly that goes under the weatherstripping to minimize pinching. Install recommends that you leave the stock A pillar on, but it makes no sense to leave it behind this unit. It fits great and you only have to drill one hole through the top window frame plastic trim to secure it. The part you drill into will be covered by the stock A pillar if you ever return to stock. The bottom is held firmly by the dash.

Do they do a RHD version? I've had a SOS one before and the quality sucks

Looks great! I'll be going with the Auto Meter single gauge pod and AEM serial gauge shortly. If I decide to run 2 separate gauges I'll definitely be using this dual pod.
