rattle-canned front lip...

 

Wow that looks awesome. Really considering doing this now. How has the painted lip held up against rock chips/etc compared to your front bumper? Does the lip have more tendency to chip?

 

^ It does have a little higher tendency to chip than the front bumper paint. I kinda chipped mine b/c I pulled up in a parking space with those big concrete things and I pulled up to far and it bent my lip and chipped it some. But I easily just sanded that part and re-sprayed it since I had alot of paint left. Then cleared it and looks just like new again. If you an any chips in it, its very easy to fix it.

 

I got an ebay lip too from a different vendor and I have to say it was definitely a cheap and easy way to give your stock look a little bit of oem spice. One thing that I have to point out for potential buyers is I have this same fitment issue here..

 

Anyone got a direct link to his AP1 lip listing? I can't find it on his store.

Just ordered one right now. For those who were also interested, that seller got them back up already.

 

I just bought one from d1 performance he sells the OEM ap1 lip. I had fitment issue too, but i can fix that. Ill have pics of my ap1 after i get some sunshine around my area.

 

Just ordered one from the same guy the OP did, hopefully I get lucky with the fitment as well.
