that around how much they go for. and if your going to get headers... your not going to make much power even with all bolt ons. I dont think 400 dollars is worth the 3-4hp your going to get.

the power gain is next to nothing and IMHO its not worth it to get headers for the s2000. Stock ones are pretty good

IMHO and based on my experience, bolt ons dont add a huge amount of power at any one point, but they do give a small bump in power across the whole powerband, and although its only 3-4 peak hp, you can get a bit more in the 5-7k range.
Bear in mind that this type of improvement is hard to feel because it is not huge at any point, but the total increase in power under the curve helps a bit at autox at least. Whether or not it is worth the $$ is up to you... it Also reduces weight. Had I not managed to grab a used Ricks header for $225, I would have gotten the Berk.

the link doesn't work for me (probably firefox) but the link looks like it goes to vividracing which is a really good company (they are a sponsor on this forum) they have good prices and ship very quickly. I recently bought a koyo radiator from them and it was on my doorstep two days later.
send vividracing a pm- they usually give a discount if you contact them through this forum.

like the two before me said- if you plan on buying a header don't get your hopes up about gaining any power- it is a minimal gain.

i know my car is not going to feel magically faster. i just want it to complete my setup i have k&n intake, invidia dual n1, 70mm berk hi flo cat, and now i want to get my header and getting it tuned afterword and be done with aftermarket really. i know there isnt that much horsepower to be made but id rather have a s2000 that sounds badass and has 217whp than a stock one with 200 whp that doesnt sound mean

I modded for sound and practibility, my amazing [for a bolt-on] powerband was the cherry on top.

they do go for that...might even be a better deal than what I got mine for...but VIvid Racing is great...they deal with Berk directly and they have great customer service...I'd say buy with confidence

haha good thinking! i thought the s2000 was like rsx or si and a intake will give you 15hp and exhaust will give you 20 but the s2000 is fine tuned by honda and stock parts are pretty good. But the sound when you get aftermarket is beast! my s is louder than every single car i have seen. even at muscle car meets. invdia n1 dual with a matching 70mm tp and a aem cai! sounds mean!! i do wonder what headers wil do to the sound tho.

People with aftermarket headers seem to have problems keeping under hood temperatures down. The stock headshield doesn't fit over (nearly) all of them, so the only way to deal with the heat is to coat the header. The coatings cost extra money and are generally hit and miss as far as quality goes. All of this for a couple HP gain from 5k-8krpm is a pretty tough sell as far as bolt ons go. I personally would go for the tune and leave the header stock.
