Ive been thinking about picking one up but I dont want to deal with smogging issues.
Anybody know?

 

not smog legal in CA. oem cat must go back on for smog check.

can smogging detect the HFC?

 

it will fail visual if your smog shop looks under your car for the oem cat. besides, ive heard of hfc not passing if the shop does pass by it on visual.

it doesnt take much time, its only 5 bolts and jacking up the car to get it off.

 

I smog my car with Berk hfc. I can tell you they do not pass smog check. The only one didn't pass is NOX at 15mph.
