Default Berk Vs. HKS 75mm

Hey all I currently run the HKS 75mm with a test pipe and want to change it up some. I love the Berk at WOT but I don't want to go much or any louder than my HKS at normal driving or highway driving. Ive researched this exhaust but Id like to know if anyone can chime in with actual experience or db numbers.

Thanks

The Berk seems to be great but I don't like the look of the muffler. I run a Berk header and Hytech 3" test-pipe with my HKS 75mm and love it. I don't think I'd trade it for anything else.

berk on the interstate can be kind of brutal. It's not all that horrible though. City driving is okay. I get a rattle from the resonance around 3000-3500 rpms.

If you ever come over to Bama let me know and I'll let you try it out. I love the Berk because it looks good to me and has a rumble. A few people have said my car sounds like a Subbie though.

It's the same thing with my set-up; on both subjects.

It will probably help some of the drone. I noticed that it actually seemed to quieten the exhaust when I installed a Berk header. I was using a Megan exhaust so I'm a bit tone deaf anyways. I've heard others say a header reduces noise though. Without a tune a header won't yield many or any gains in power.

I've got a Skunk2 Racing dual exhaust. With both silencers in, it's just a little louder than stock. With one silencer out it's loud, but not unbarealble on the inside of the car. It's loud outside though. With both silencers out, it booms inside bad with the top up, but outside it sounds absolutely awesome.

I've gotten many, many commpliments at the track that it's the best sounding exhaust they've heard. The non Honda guys always come up to me after I screem down the straights at 9000rpm and are amazed.
