Default Best lowering kit?

Hi there guys. I have a 2001 S2K. I was thinking of lowering it next summer, so I wanted to ask a few questions. You guys are experts and masters of this topic, you have lowered S2Ks! I once had a 1992 Integra, I lowered it...but the camber kits always made a squeaking noise...it was awful. But I want to lower my S2000 without spoiling the comfort (I know it will be a bit harder and firmer...which is fine) and I really don

It has been asked many a times, but it sounds like you want the PSS9 coilovers.

the next thing i would ask is, how much are you willing to spend?

I plan on coilovers down the road, but as of right now i am on espelir springs. They lowered the car close to 2 inches. I have 17x9 rpf1's +45offset with 245f and 255r. The car rides pretty close to stock (harshness-wise). I am running the euro alignment b/c i wanted it. I also, which definitely was a must, need the alignment b/c of tire rubbing issues.

Basically, i would have to say for under $200, these springs are not that bad. To each is there own, but i like them.

Cool! I think I might go with a 1inch drop... anyone know the offset of the rims? I might go with a 17" wheel set?

Tein S-tech srpings.
Almost a perfect drop.
Trying to find staggered wheels with high offset will cost you $$$$.
Get AP2 v1 or AP2 v2 and call it a day.
I LOVE my AP2 v2 wheels.
Makes the car 10x better looking than the AP1 wheels.

golfreak12,is that a 1.5 inch drop? Do you find the alignment to be a issue?

I have Tanabe springs and I wouldn't recomend. The car isn't level and I want to replace them. Looks good though. I have 05 wheels and I painted them matt black at my shop. People always ask me what wheels I have and I tell them they are stock and they do a double take. So far everyone thinks they look great.

I have espelir, the drop was lower than I wanted, but its cool I really like how it looks now . After the break in, I measure it and it was very close to 1.5 drop. For the price I'm not gonna complain too much, but like stated above coilovers is gonna be coming down the road soon for me. So far the ride is excaty what I was expecting, a tad bit harsher on the bumps, but very close to stock in my opinion.
