Thumbs up BEST NON COILOVERS SUSPENSION

Hello all

Getting rid of my TEIN FLEX with EDFC for some NON COILOVERS set-up.

I have an AP1 MY03 with 57k on it. Just Bump Steer Kit all around (Megan Racing) and camber kit in front (SPC) for mods. I run on 08 CR wheels.
Except that the car is stock!
With the suspension swap i'm planning on adding an APR GTC 200 wing, and down the line run NON-STAGGERED 17X8.5 all around (235 front / 255 back).

The S is not my DD, just used for spirited driving during the week-ends and the S2K challenge!

Koni yellow? swift? CR suspension?

Your recommendations / suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers,

22B

You're right, It seems like CR suspension is one of the best bets.

Suspension is made for the S, almost 10 years of R&D by 08, that must be good!!!
Maybe it's safer to stay with OEM.

TKX!!!

^^I agree...the C/R setup gets my vote. Just out of curiosity, why are you getting rid of the Teins?

lol actually the front is a tad higher as people have reported. Might be the higher spring rates or something about having the front spoiler making down force etc.

Remember though, you gotta get sticky tires to use the CR suspension as I hear its too stiff if not used with at least RE070 or stickier tires.

When I change my shocks out I'm going with Penske double adjustable. Still staying in Stock class auto-x. If you don't want to spend that kind of change the CR suspension is probably a good second choice.

Koni yellows are very affordable and offer great ride and handling. My old Koni yellow and Eibach pro kit setup was beautiful.
