Need to replace my soft top. What brand do you recommend ?

Robbins or EZ on

Robbins is a little better as they have the holes pre-done where ez-on requires a little more work.

Both use Haartz material, which is good quality.

Vinyl vs Fabric. Fabric has a better look (darker) and feel but requires maintenance/upkeep

had both Robbins and EZon ...Robbins wins in quality and attention to detail.

 

I had a GAAH fabric top put on mine in February. Looks great, perfect fit. Not a brand you hear about much on here, but great quality. They tend to make tops more for European cars.

 

Can you please tell me the down and dirty on that please? Cost of top, where you got it, install price (if you did not do a DIY) and any problems with installation.

No experience with GAAH but have installed quite a few EZ On and Robbins. Robbins every day is hands down better in every way to EZ On. Their attention to detail in the construction of the top is awesome and their customer service is great!

 

Define "best". Robbins and EZ On are very popular options but there are certainly others out there as well. Don't overlook prior discussions. Here's just one of many:

This is a safe bet. People also recommend ebay if you can get a good deal.
