This was my choice, total cost...$17. Welded it myself, painted it flat black afterwards (and yes, I did weld a rear hanger onto it...just wasn't on in the pic)

Sure it may or may not make any gains but it sounds incredible.

I did something similar... But when I cut it I welded on a Vband clamp (so I could re-attach the stock axleback) and put a dump on it... so Mine just dumps after the rear axle, but I can switch back to stock in a matter of minutes

The ASM 60 or 70 has to be one of the quietest singles out there. Even with a test pipe, it can be pretty quiet when you want it to be.

I have the Greddy Ti-C single on my AP1. Initially installed it with an Invidia test pipe and it sounded wonderful, but honestly, really loud too! It definitely has a certain F1 race car sound to it!! Do NOT expect to carry on a conversation with this exhaust, at least not over the phone... You can tone it down when you want to by easing up on the throttle postion, but it's still loud even when casually accelerating around town. If you live where there are hills (im in Birmingham, AL), forget about it!

I recently put the oem cat back on, so that i can use it in stock autox. I think it's actually louder from 3 to 5k rpms than when i had the test pipe!! I can definitely tell a difference (LOSS) in power since switching back to the cat. Now i can hear that great little motor! With the test pipe + single, the exhaust tone steals the show for sure, you dont really hear the motor over the exhaust sound. Pic to follow...
