Default Best springs for drag

I need to make a decision very soon about springs. I want around a 1" or so drop and I use my car for regular driving and drag racing. What would be the best spring option to reduce wheel hop. Would stiffer spring be better than softer ones. I am leaning toward in order eibach pro, Swift, espiliers, tein s.
Progressive better than linier?
Is lower better?
possiblly spring would not help at all?

I would imagine the damper matters more than the spring itself to control axle hop. A stiff damper would help control the spring movement.

Any suspension experts care to chime in?

Do you run on slicks at the track?

No just my reg street tires, I want to do spring regardless, I think I will just to the Eibach Pro kit and call it a day.

wheel hop is about dampeners and bushings.

well if you're about drag I would look at Skunk 2, they are pretty heavy into that. Maybe even RSR... give you a good drop, and get the axle spacers in there..

But you have a "suspension" issue, it's more than just springs, in fact more than likely if you lower it, it will get worse, it did on my civic. But a little adjusting on the dampers it was a lot better,

Also there is NO substituation for good tires..

Eibach isn't gonna do anything, I had them on my civic and everytime I launced the thing the rear would sag bad and killed my 60's.

I ended up going koni adjustables with custome spring rated ground controls. 600lbs. front and 1200lbs. sring rates. and ended up using polyuathane(sp) bushings for the suspension and the bumpstops, to get rid of the sag on launch.

Stiff as hell but dropped the 60's a lot ! equaling lower ET's
