Default Best Test Pipe w/o CEL

I apologize in advance if this has been covered before, although I didn't turn up anything specifically on this in my search. I wanted to know if there is a test pipe with a CEL fix that is less likely than others to throw a check engine light. I know that some, even with the fix will still have the problem. Does diameter make a difference? Any comments are appreciated.

pick any test pipe and add one of those $8 plug defoulers and you're set! Mines been running CEL free for about a year already. I have the 70mm invidia btw. >>>EBAY LINK<<<

best way for no CEL? Get a early AP1. the newer the car, the more likely to trip a CEL, IIRC the ones popping CELs are 03+ (rarely) and 06 up (common) with a good defouler.

I have a '01 with ARK test pipe and spark plug defouler.. no CEL.

I have a berk 70mm, and have never had a CEL. Keep in mind though I have an 02 so that comes into play.

Good point. I guess getting an AP1 at this point is kind of out of the question

So when you say adding an $8 defouler, do you mean putting one on in addition to the cel defouler that's already included?

The test pipes with built in defoulers don't work as well as the added one. It's longer. The exhaust gas doesn't reach it the further away the o2 sensor is, this simulates the restriction from the cat.
