bit of paint chip/crack after installing front stb

Default bit of paint chip/crack after installing front stb

i installed the cusco front stb and noticed that there are some paint chip/crack around that area. i torqued it to 36lbs-ft. just wondering if this is normal? thanks.

hm its really minor, it's when the bracket tightens onto the paint, it seems too tight that the paint starts to crack a bit. i don't think taking a picture will help.

same thing happen to mine, you have a harden metal pressing against a thin painted surface, metal wins everytime

dam if i knew it was gonna happen, i would have doubts whether to install it or not. i guess some touch up paint will do the job.
