How do people typically get those black emblems I sometimes see these days? I guess some of those toyo/lex come stock (or option) with them, but I am certain I have seen them on cars where they were not stock. Is that a take off and modify thing, or a replacement thing?

 

The CR's came with black side emblems.

Most people use plasti-dip to paint the emblems with them still on the car. You can tape off around the outside of the emblem, spray with plasti-dip, then peel off any excess on the insides of the emblem.

 

I used plastidip and I liked the way they came out
