Default Blue Convex Mirror Options

Looking for another convex mirror...I know Spoon makes one, and I think a company called "LEVEL" made them before as well... I had the OEM convex mirror before but I'm looking at possibly getting the blue tinted one. Is Spoon the only readily available still? Do other companies make them? It's $170 or so for the convex mirror so I'd like to look at other options as well.

Are they glass? Plastic?

Thanks in advance.

Level are glass. Unfortunately they are no longer in production. I got one of the last sets available. You could put up a WTB and see if anyone bites, but don't hold your breathe .

I believe Spoon is the only option left. Sadly, I love mine so much if they broke I'd probably fork over the $$ for the Spoon to replace them.

Hmm.. makes sense... yeah... I would have loved to find a set but when I parted out my ap2, I got rid of a bunch of stuff, one being the convex mirror... I'd like to find a tinted version...

Hmm... I wonder if we can convince a vendor to make some..

I got one from Muz in Australia about 6 years ago. Not sure if he is still around. You can get a convex drivers side (due to the Aussies driving funny). I love it, and it was not too expensive.

yep, spoon, or you could try to add some blue lamin-x stuff to the mirrors, maybe that will get you a similar result but cheaper.

Out of curiosity, what purpose does the blue tint serve? Aesthetics? Anti-Glare?

I think both.. anti-glare and looks

This is an old picture of my old s2k but I had blue tint/film on the headlights before. I can't do that on my new car (too much blue) so it has a 3M clear film on it.
