Default Blue Dash lights

I have never understood why honda decided to stick with the retro orange color dash for so long. Anyhow, I was wondering if it would be as simple as to changing the light bulbs in the dash to make it that blue color that you see in a lot of high end cars even the new civics. I dont want to change the dash setup just color.

There is a fellow on the board that sells a conversion kit. I warn it is pretty expensive! As a lot of things are for our cars

hehe or the words uttered from the girls mouths. On numerous dates I hear "oh wow you have a nice car!, what kinda car is it?" hehe..I'm like S2000 since saying Honda doesn't give it such a sporty sounding class ...

I believe blue/purple is in the higher kelvin scale which makes the eyes more "sleepy", and less alert.
By choosing green or in our case orange keeps our eyes alert, and more responsive.

Besides, don't these other colors look a bit "ebayish"? LOL

Hmm I actually like the Blue, but then again blue is my fav color hence my choice in cars. But in my ex gf's si I like the blue in the dash. Green does not make the eye more responsive; in fact green is the color our eye is more "sensitive" to hence why "night vision" goggles use green.
If i could mod my dash I would make the background black with white numbers and a RED-REDLINE

I don't understand the blue fascination. YMMV.
