Default Bought an s2k and need a couple things!

just bought a 2005 Gran Prix White S2000 with an OEM hardtop

1. OEM front lip - Do they come painted? Where is the best and preferably cheapest place to get this. Although, i would prefer a place that offers convenience and service over the one that's the cheapest.

2. Whats a really good alarm? Have you heard anything good about CLIFFORD 470/770? I really want a 2 way, so i know whats going on. But i am hearing that some alarms have a feature where it texts your phone instead of having a 2-way pager. How reliable is that feature?

i am sure there are more things i need but thats all i can think of right now.

thanks a lot!

Come painted from honda dealer but, if you want to go cheap route eBay has ap2 lip replicas not sure if they come painted or not.

As far as alarms go, I never had a clifford alarm. My S has basic 2-way, proximity, and back-up battery. Think the model I have is Viper 5701. Alarms definitely a must get proximity while you're at it.

go get one off ebay for 60 bucks. ive seen maybe one or 2 painted but for the most part just go buy the closest match auto paint to it and spray it your self. Cheap and easy. Unless you have the money for them to paint it with honda paint.

You should also look into seat locks by kodokan. S2000 seats seem to be a high theft item for these cars
