Default Brake pads

Hey yallz, I'm looking for a good set of brake pads that arent going to be to dusty. I figured Hawk pads would be fine but there a very mainstream set and I know alot of times there are better but less popular options.

i was running Hawk HPS and they were the noisiest, dustiest brake pads i've ever used. good stopping power but not enough of a difference over OEM to be worth it. i would highly recommend just getting OEM pads

Hmmm. I saw some on tirerack.com with a perfect rating for dust prevention.

either way, i still recommend getting OEM unless you need it for track/autox (which you haven'tt specified). the stopping power is great and they are very quiet and not dusty.

I've never had an issue with Hawk HPS pads on my Hondas and other high powered sport compacts. I've got them on all four corners on the s2k, I'm a big fan of these pads. I believe they have better stopping power in hard braking situations than the stockers but that's just my opinion. Hawk HP+ are the noisier, dustier, version of pads, but the HPS compounds are quiet and low dusting. I've got the Hawk Ceramics on another vehicle of mine but I think the HPS compounds are better.
