Im running F1 11lbs flywheel with Exedy OEM spec clutch. Previous was an AP1 flywheel. Instead of re-using the flywheel, I opted for an upgrade (~3lbs difference). I like the lighter flywheel, the engine seems to response a little better. Heel-and-toe is easier. I've been with it at the track and seems to hold well.

I am currently running a comptech (8-9 lbs) but will be replacing it with a competition clutch 8 lb when I replace the clutch (unless I can get a good deal on another comptech). I loved the comptech but it is on it's second clutch setup and have already resurfaced it once so it is due for replacement. I ran a competition clutch and flywheel setup in my gsr and was very happy with it so I will continue to support them.

I really like the response generated from the 8lbs flywheel. I have never driven an s with an 11lbs flywheel but it seems like it should be good. It should be a good middle between stock ap1 and 8lbs. Might be a good choise for the more civilized driver. Stock ap2 can suck it lol.

Comp 11lb here. Works great. Will be going to 8lb next time i pull the tranny though. I need quicker revs. Any of the big companies flywheels will work just fine. Just pick the weight you want and buy one. There is no difference between a 11lb comp and a 11lb f1 and a 11lb act. You cant tell any difference between a them if there all the same weight. I personally like a steel flywheel over aluminum but both work just fine.

The voting should of had the weights for stock which everyone knows...14 for AP1 and a whopping 21 for AP2.
I am still running Stock in my AP2, (people need to say if the have AP1 or 2 when talking about what they have). Going to SOS heavy duty street clucth and going to go to the 14 pound AP1 wheel. From the 21 pounder I have now that is 33% reduction in weight. Going to an 8 pounder would be a 62% reduction. Anyway I can get an old AP1 for like 50 bucks. So why not! For peps with AP2 are you removing or bypass the clutch damper?

I have the F1 racing flywheel, and its great. not too light and not heavy at all. easy to rev match without dropping rpms too fast in daily downshifts
