Default Bride seat and Harness

Okay so I just installed a Bride Digo seat in the driver's side. I tried to swap the sseat belt receptacle over, but I couldnt get the nut on the inside of the chair that the bolt going through the seat belt receptacle screws into. Is it welded on. Or is it just held in place by the paint and from the pressure of ten years sitting there.

Also, if I want to install a harness, what else do I need aside from the harness itself. I know this is a noob question. So be nice. I searched, but just got a bunch of people bickering about stupid crap and not actually installing it.

To be safe you should look up harness install instructions. Basically the shoulder harness should be tied to a cage or harness bar that is some dimension around your shoulders if I am not mistaken. This is an important piece to keep you safe in the event of an accident. If you tie to the floor you are asking for trouble.

Yea, I know the regs call for the straps to me mountes at shoulder height or above. I am wondering what all is involved with the install. Like do I HAVE to have that harness bar? Do I have to cut into the car?
