So I installed these coilovers over the weekend and I set they on the highest position possible and I only have about a finger gap all the way around. My fenders are all rolled. Is this normal? I really would like to be about 3/4 of an inch higher. Did I do something wrong or Is this really as high as they can go? I wish I could post pictures, but I do not have a camera at the moment. Thanks in advance for any help given.

Mike.

Wow sounds strange... I have the same coils and they seemed to have a pretty broad range of adjustment

what part of the coilover did you use to adjust for height?

I had a shop put them on and when I got there to pick it up the car was slammed! I drove home and I used the two adjusting rings to raise up the springs as high as it would go. I got maybe a half inch higher and the springs wouldn't move up any more than that.

you can also adjust the bottom part of the coilover. the part that bolts on to your lower control arm.

do you think I would be able to do this lover adjustment without removing the coilover all of the way?

It sounds like you were adjusting pre-load, not what you want. All height adjustments should be made by loosening the lower collar. You can make adjustments without taking them off the car.

it'll be tough. there isn't a lot of room and when you unbolt the lower part of the coilover you might not have enough room to spin the lower mount. however this is where your 'problem' is.

me and my gf did mine the other day in about an hour and a half working at an easy pace.

Make sure to adjust the preload back to specs.
