yeah i checked mine and was like "WHOA" the other day.... it had all sorts of shit in it...

havent looked to see if the parts stores carry it yet, but ill let you know.

anyone who is having trouble following where it is, lookin the owners manual if you have one, or you might be able to find a manual online.

you can tell you need to change it when your recirculate air blows alot stronger than the outside air...

Thats nothing. My 02 has 60k on it and had never been done. When I changed it out the filter was 100% caked with dirt. I could not even tell there were ridges in the filter.

It was pretty awful and now the air flows much quicker, imagine that

my2001... 123,000 miles, and never been changed.... gotcha beat...

Thats a great idea, I didn't think of that. The picture of the dirty one looks clean compared to mine. You can hardly see the pleates, it just looks like a block off dirt and debris- or yeah resembles asomething like a dead rhodent or cat Sounds like I'm not the only one who has never changed with 120k. Wonder if my fan will flow any better once I clean?

I just blow mine off with compressed air. Flow seems like new and the cabin stays clean. We put the tops down anyway. That $20 will put fresh Mobile 1 in the engine
