Caliper Color Advice
I'm thinking about painting my calipers. My S is Laguna Blue. Suggestions on color? I'm considering blue to align with the color, but not sure how it would look.

I like silver.

Painting brake calipers a different color draws attention to them -- is that your intention? Someone walks by my car and remarks "Cool brake calipers" means I've blown it -- they should say "Cool car." Silver or black make the calipers nearly invisible, a desirable effect. This goes for bizarre wheel colors as well. Bizarre meaning any color other than OEM silver.

One advantage of silver is they simply look new and clean, as the original zinc or whatever plating was a bright silver color. This is common on most cars stock calipers, so even people that don't know the S would just think they are newish.
IMO, humble single piston single sided calipers should not be painted in anything that draws any attention to them. It just looks...pathetic. A step above fake brembo caliper covers, but not much more.
So black or silver are safe choices. Something that compliments the car color could also work. Like blue car blue calipers, especially if it were part of an overall color theme, where other things were color matched or color themed.
Good taste is a crowd sourced notion. It can change over time, and it varies in different communities. Flaunting it can also be its own effect appreciated by many.
But in the end, the only one that must appreciate it is you.
