has anyone tried to install the AP2 leather console piece to an AP1?

Should I just buy a Rick's leather console piece instead?

I can't stand the fuzz on my AP1!

 

I believe 2000 was the only year that didn't get leather on the center tunnel. I know my 2002 has it, and I think the 2001s did too. It was changed a little for the AP2s.

 

It should work, although the Rick's leather console is made of better material.

MY2000 and MY2001 had the ugly carpet on the center console.

 

I have an 01 ap1 and i dont have a leather console.

 

i've had both rick's and jpm consoles. i like my jpm better.

 

Thanks...I currently have a MY00 and am looking to replace the fuzzy console with a leather one. I just wanted to know what steps would be required to replace it with a leather one from an AP2.

 

I like my carpet one.

But I like my plastic window too. Maybe I am just hardcore like that

I like my plastic window. It's larger than the glass one so I have more visibility.

However, I can't stand the carpet. It's gotta go. Still waiting for someone to respond with whether they replaced it with leather from an Ap2 and how difficult it was.
