Default Which cat is this?

I was under my car to install a few bolts because the previous owner just left the clutch bell housing without some bolts.. -_- SOB..

anyways, I noticed that my cat wasn't OEM. Does anyone recognize which after market cat this is? On the other side, some kind of serial number is etched on. (N/CE 59958 0712)

Which cat is this?-r6nysdx.jpg

Thanks!

I initially suspected it was Berk's too, but I was under the impression that Berk's hfc is full stainless steel. Did you guys experience change of color like this one?

Yes, nothing to worry about, I have had two and both looked the same after putting some mileage on them.

The cat is a magnaflow HF metallic substrate cat. I know berk uses magnaflow cats, but it could be a custom job.

I know because I just welded a 59956 into my test pipe. Its the same as yours but its 2.5 instead of 2.75.

Mine looked similar when I took it off and sold it. And mine didn't have any "Berk" tags or anything.

My old 63.5 had a Berk plaque welded to the cat, when I got my 70 it didn't say Berk but I think it had the serial (part) number on the side.
