Default CEL Fix doesnt work

I wanted to ask if anyone who has the 70mm Invidia testpipe with the CEL fix does not have the check engine light coming up. I have a 2005 S2000 and it should be working for my car but it does not. I believe it is due to a design flaw.

Anyone have an experience with the 70mm berk testpipe w/ CEL fix and does the code still come up for you with a 2004 to 2005 S2000. I am looking into buying the Berk since the design of th CEL looks better and if someone could explain how it works in the Berk since in the Invidia they have a mini piece of catalytic converter next inside the pipe near the sensor. Thanks.

Do they fit those test pipes and will the wire be to short to change the sensor to a horizontal position?

its not invdia's flaw. ap2's are just more sensitive to picking up cel's from the tp. i been running a 70mm tp from invidia for over 15k and its been fine. just get an angled defouler and if it doesnt work your out of luck. a berk tp wont even help you.

I have a 2004 with a berk 70mm tp with built in CEL fix, I've never had a CEL over the 4000 miles I've had it on my car. It doesn't have a peice of cat like you described with the invidia, it has an external cylinder welded onto the outside that the O2 sensor threads into, and then there's a small hole drilled through the tp so it doesn't allow much exhaust gas into the cylinder where the o2 sensor is. That's the best way I can explain it, hope it helps lol, but from what I've read 04-05 have had no issues with berk tp with CEL fix, 06+ on the other hand...

Same here. Sometimes the CEL fix works, sometimes it doesn't. If you email Invidia they will send you a defouler. All it does is screw in between the O2 sensor and test pipe pushing the sensor farther. This made my CEL go away

I had this piece included. The piece itself is the CEL fix. Sometimes Ill drive for hours and it wont throw the CEL. Then sometimes after driving for 10 minutes or crossing into VTEC it throws the CEL. Only thing that resets it is a negative terminal disconnect -_- which in turn resets all my other settings on everything. Grrr.

From my experience when ever I got on my car or hit redline I knew it was time to find a scantool to clear my check engine light. If you baby your car they work perfect.
