Default CEL fix on test pipe

Hey guys i just got an invidia test pipe w/ cel fix from some website called streetrays. I am just wondering what is the difference between a test pipe w/ cel fix and without? Like can i physically see the difference. I took some pictures of what i got, maybe its that circle thing inside of it?

it looks like a small amount of catalyst material just before the o2... pretty smart...

there are straight cat deletes that are just piping you will need an extension on the o2 bung to keep the CEL happy.

There are High Flow cats that I think have less catalyst material inside but are still pretty restrictive.

I think what they did is cool but I would be concerned with it falling out under extreme heat conditions. install it and see if it works... I'm curious...

IMO the smell isn't worth a few extra horses... these cars burn pretty clean but the exhaust smell on a TPed car is rancid.

It didnt work on my MY05. The light instantly came on. However, all i did was the anti-fouler trick and it works perfectly now.

and rosodigital- yes it does smell, that's why i don't sit behind my car

I haven't looked inside of mine but normally the cell fix is an 02 extension similar to an anti-fouler.... Best setup for eliminating the cell is having the cellfix + one antifouler with a little bit of steel wool on the inside... or 2 antifoulers.

I once had that 70mm Invidia pipe on my 06. That cel fix didn't work. But, 06+ are much more sensitive to test pipes.

After installing about 15 feet of anti foulers, I'm good.

I have a 2002 with a HKS Hi-Power and wanted to get a test pipe due to the drone but I dont really understand the whole anti-fouler or CEL fix. Does the CEL fix work and what is the anti fouler trick?

Basically acts like a spacer to pull the O2 sensor back from the exhaust flow. Works on my Berk test pipe, which has the CEL fix built in.

I use two defoulers. Works fine. Don't like running cat-less but it's got to do for right now.
