Post CF roof....

hey guys,

i know this is almost sacrilege but a buddy of mine refered me to a company in taiwan that makes CF roofs for S2K. The company makes parts mainly for Nissan, like the GTR, etc, but this S2000 roof caught my attention for future reference. Now, i know everyone loves VIS and Seibon, but here is crazy expensive, like well over $5000 to get it in bcos of this shipping etc. Now, this roof, i can get it for around $2000, BUT, it doesnt come with the rear glass. It comes with all hinges and stuff to attach to the car, and apparently it is pretty decent CF - iv seen some pretty bleak types - but my question is, does the Seibon one come with a glass or do you have to custom make a glass/plastic for the back?

Thanks guys, any help would be appreciated. Iv attached a pic of the roof.

It's lexan glass, so it's like a plastic. And there are rubber surrounds.

Just in case you're wondering, the VIS comes with the lexan glass as well, but you can get an upgrade to glass for a bit more from them.

if this is the same as mine, it didn't come with any hardware just a bag of bolts we were told that everything would be supplied except rear window and seal, just like you.
We went with OEM hardwares and got the lexan cut. The Carbon HT is pretty good though. We were told that its the same factory where Seibon HT's are made.
Here is a link to a supplier here in Australia, you'll notice the pic is the same, but I believe that this pic has been getting around the net.

here is a link DIY the journey to have this fitted satisfactorily.

overall am happy with the HT, end costing about the same as getting a 2nd hand OEM or fiber glass Mugen.
