Thumbs up Cheap Headers

hey guys I was wondering would cheap headers make power on our cars AP2 for me BTW lol. Megan, JVT, ERZ, MP2???? I know all of these r cheap companies that make replicas mostly. I just want to know if you guys have experience with these I read a lot about Megan's I want to run them with 70mm TP and Greddy Ti-c Single with Fujita CAI. What do you guys think of this setup? Any ideas recommendations? Any info would be great guys.

Thank you very much Mike

PLM header off ebay!! im about to order one in a few days and if u want to wait ill tell u how it is. i have an ap1 but they fit the ap2 i think as well. 450 shipped...its a j's replica

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/PLM-HONDA-S...sQ5fAccessories

also about your setup, your on key with the other mods...i have k n fipk, 70mm test pipe and t1r single v3 70mm. im about to switch to a cold air and a the new header. also i just got a giles emanage tune. def a big + on midrange with his tune without a header, i cant wait to see the gains with a header.

also youll notice the best gains with a header and a tune.

The cheap ones... even expensive ones make little to no power from the OEM one and is usually a pain in the ass to install. Id save the money and go for some engine management/tuning or of course some FI.

I agree that the PLM for the price is the best way to go if your going to buy a header at all. Again, like boostftw said, a good tune is the best way to unleesh the beast in the first place. Opening up the Mid-Range with a good tune will yeild you around 10whp vs. maybe 1-4 with any header alone.

Side note. The TP is the key element to freeing up your exhaust flow. Why would you spend all that money on Header/Cat-Back/CAI only to leave in the most restrictive part?
