Cherry bomb glass packs
Has anyone ever removed the stock mufflers and put cherry bomb or glass packs on just for the f@#k of it?
I was thinking about doing it for a temporary trick. I do not see any reason to remove a perfectly good exhaust just to change the sound. To me just changing the mufflers and or tips is all that is necessary. It has not really been proven that changing the stock cat back for a new one does anything more then just change the sound.
I'm going to do it if it's tit.
I'll take some measurements and hit pep boys tomorrow.

There's no need to add garbage under your car.. Remove the mufflers and weld in two pieces of tubing capped with new tips, and don't resonate them. I did my 02', my 03' is done this way and my 01' will be soon after I bore myself of the stock mufflers. It sounds far better than most expensive, heavy cans IMO, and has no rasp. And it doesn't drone at ALL. About 20 dollars worth of stainless tubing and a 60 dollar set of good stainless doublewall tips and you're golden, and then pay them to weld everything up if you don't have a welder (less than 100 dollars in materials if you do it yourself).

Oh Cherry Bombs... I remember when I put one on my '92 Accord LX back in the late 90's.
I was so damn cool.
