Today I just had my circuit werks (ebay) test pipe installed . I was searching for test pipes and saw this on ebay was 84.99 and came with a gasket , new bolts and 90 degree cel fix. I wasn't expecting much in gains but oh was I wrong. The test pipe by far is the only bolton I put on this car that I could actually tell a difference . My current mods now are injen cai , Tanabe medalion exhaust and the test pipe. The entire power band has benefited from the cat being removed. The best part is the vtec transition is so much smoother. U don't get that jerk in power anymore because everything is flowing so much better. The only draw back is the fumes smell and it has made the exhaust alot louder. People with louder exhaust systems like the Q300 idk how u could deal with a test pipe. I give this test pipe 2 thumbs up for anyone looking for one. U feel the gains and it's way cheaper than buying a. Invidia or berk. I put a good couple of miles on her and got on it a good amount to see if the cel would turn on. So far no cel. did you just use the OEM gasket between the header and test pipe??

 

Is there a gasket there? The pipe came with a gasket for the tp to exhaust . So if there's a gasket where the springs are then yes.

 

What size pipe is it? I run the invidia test pipe with a flashpro tune and it turns it into a whole different car! The Q300 exhaust is supposed to be one of the more quieter ones on the S2K you might be thinking of the N1 that thing is bonkers.

 

If this is the same exhaust we are talking about. To me that's way to loud. I think the pipe is 60mm because I have a Tanabe medalion which is also 60mm and a hks header . Flashpro and a ap2 are a completely different world. Same dyno I was tuned on my ap1 only made a few extra whp on a aem v2. While a bolton ap2 same dyno same tuner made about 230. I made 201
