Default Civic Spoon Replica Mirrors On S2k

I dug up an old thread where someone had suggested using these spoon replica mirrors off eBay made for a civic and putting them onto the s2000. Doesn't seem like they ever went through with it and I can't find anyone else who has tried it also. I'd love to get them and paint them to match my car and for a hundred if they would work it would be a good deal vs 900 for real ones. My question is has someone tried these before?

Looks to me like they are the same as the authentic s2000 ones mounting wise. All the spoon mirror bases look the same. May grab a set and see what can be done to make them fit.

Got a set coming. Should be here in a few days and I'll update. Only take a 20% restocking fee loss if they don't so why not.

Nice idea, these are by far the best looking and flowing mirrors for the s2000..

Will these mount straight to the OEM mirror holes? Or will they leave open holes that will need filling & painting?

I dug an old thread up and apparently no one tried it out. Looked at a close up of authentics on a s2000 and a FD2 and I don't see a difference in the size. Spoon market's their mirrors to mount to the factory holes so my guess is if these are the same as the s2000 ones assuming the replica is a good replica they will mount to the factory points correctly. When they come in I'll update with pictures.

This is where I bought them from if anyone was curious.

They are currently shipped via Fedex. Can't see the estimated delivery yet as they were just sent out but I'm hoping to have them by Thursday for a test fit as long as the weather doesn't push Fedex back.

The other guy never bought them. He expected someone else to be the test animal.
