Default clutch?

Im planning on supercharging the car within the next six months. I wana try and make 350 wheel hp and i doubt that the stock clutch will handle that for long... So, what clutch should i be looking to get? also, should i upgrade the flywheel or anything like that??

TIA

I'm really unqualified to answer this question but my guess is that the stock clutch may be adequate but other things like the transmission, driveline ,rearend and axles will take the higher end of the abuse of the added power. During normal driving the clutch should never see the added power and if treated reasonably could see no more than normal wear..\

Edit- From my past experience with a hotrodded Ford and if I had it to do over again, I'd lose the temptation to ever use 1st gear again. With 350 hp you wont need it and this is the gear that will go first if you don't stay away from it. But then again, lets see what the guys who have added this kind of power have to say.

I've heard good thing about competition clutches.. I personally have an act and i love it (haven't any the ACT crankwalk yet) knock on wood.... For what u are going for I think your stock will be fine for a while anyways, and when theat burns out upgrade to a competition or some thing else... I am also runnin stock flywheel .. I think quite a few FI guys are runnin stock flywheels...

I hate my competition clutch stage 2. I guess the Stage 3 is a lot better but is overkill for 350whp. But it might be worth it to buy because the engagement on the Stage 2 is awful.

Did ACT revise their clutch? If not I'll most likely just go back to OEM since my next build will be ~260whp

A lot of the guys here have the Hardtopguy clutch kit, which is an ACT Pressure plate, stock disk, and a lightened flywheel with the supercharged set ups. I personally run a competition clutch stage 2, I am not supercharged but I am sure it will hold 350hp just fine.

clutchmaster stage 3..

perfect feel.. pedal's even a little softer than my ap2

stage 2 won't hold that much.. and competition stage 3 don't make them for the moment, due to the wearing issues on the disk..

and HTG's clutch kit it's a steal price..
u can find them $100less on s2ki.com

GOOD LUCK..
