Default Clutch

Hello all,

I have a MY01 that I am putting an AP2 transmission and differential in. I have a GReddy turbo kit that is about to be installed that I will be running about 10 PSI. (300WHP) What kind of clutch kit and flywheel should I use. Would a Lighter flywheel be a good idea or just a good clutch with AP1 flywheel. I'm really looking to spend under $800 for everything, but can spend a little more if needed. I was looking at a kit on Ebay for $660, but I'm a little nervous about it.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Matt H.

Im pretty sure that the stock clutch is supposed to be good for the greddy kit since it is a bolt on kit for the stock everything.

See SOS' site for torque holding capabilities for you application, but I'm very happy with my SOS sport clutch kit and ap1 flywheel in my SOS'd 6 psi ap2.

I love my fidanza flywheel. It's a must for the rev happy nature of the f20 IMHO. If you shop around you can find it pretty cheap. For clutches the SOS sports clutch kit and ACT HD with the organic disc are going to be your most popular options. Both should be easy to drive, smooth to engage, and handle the power. I would stay away from a puck style but thats just because I had a bad experience with one on another car.

Heres the ACT HD with Fidanza for just about what your looking to spend

The GReddy kit comes normally boosting 5PSI I am planning to run 8-10PSI. I think I will need something a little stronger than stock If I don't want to fry my clutch. Plus there is no telling what the future holds, so I might as well upgrade now while I have the transmission off.

Thank you this kit looks Perfect!

I have had bad experiences with puck clutches too. My fidanza clutch on my SC300 broke a rivet and bent the disk...TWICE!!

I dont know but i wouldnt go with CC Stage 2. It might have been the install or something but that clutch disintegrated and blew up inside my tranny bell housing. i got the ACT HDSS and ACT Prolite flywheel. The difference is night from day!
