thanks for the help so far guys

No i am not doing it myself. I don't have the tools or knowledge. Maybe if I had a lift but I hate going under the car with jack stands. So i guess my wallet will take a hit.

One of my jobs is working in a distribution center for o Reilly autoparts so I get discounts in the stores. I think they have some clutches available so I was going to try to buy everything from there. If they don't have what I need ill probably end up with the SOS one unless it doesn't hold enough power.

I was probably going to get with the lightest flywheel I could get since I don't drive the car everyday and I don't do a lot of stop and go driving.

Please consider this as an option. We've installed and used about everything on the market and feel this is best in quality and most importantly, drivability:

Other than the red pressure plate, how does the SOS clutch kit differ from the OEM clutch kit? Does your pressure plate offer more clamping force?

Just like it says on their website... Pressure plate clamping force is increased by 33%. Uses the OEM disc, but they modify it. They use better fasteners and better springs on the clutch disc, the better springs take away the infamous "clutch buzz".

This is the clutch I'm going to go with when mine goes out. I hear nothing but good things about this setup. A buddy of mine, who's an ASE certified mechanic, told me that SOS uses their products on their own cars and if something goes wrong then they discontinue that product. If the product has been out for a awhile and is still in production then its worth every penny!!!

The only things stopping me from buying that kit are that with the barrings it is about $200 more than the act kit and if I up the boost on my setup It might not hold the power.

The stop and go drive ability isn't worth the extra money to me since I don't have a lot of money at the moment.

on a second note does anyone know where to buy a cheap lightweight flywheel? I have been leaning to the SOS one although I have seen some F1 ones on ebay for $200. Does anyone know of the quality of them?
