Thumbs up Clutch Needs Replacing

I just pulled my motor today and getting ready to put the new one in and i saw my clutch looked like it was going to give up anytime soon. I just wanted to know of any info on which kit to buy that is not to harsh and noisy. I just want it for daily driving. But i wouald like some more grip. So i take it my best bet is a stage 2. any suggestions. As in brand.

Unless you are putting out large hp numbers from FI, just get the oem friction disk. If you want a bit stiffer clutch feel, then get an ACT pressure plate.

Great time ask this question:

What's the lightest flywheel to go with without having the car stall at every stoplight?
Fidanza?
Competition Clutch?
Others?

I picked up a 9.2lb...and that took some getting used to. Did stall it a couple times (and still do occasionally). I personally wouldn't want anything lighter.

Go stock oem disc with ACT pressure plate. Stock flywheel is also good.

If not FI, go with stock disk and ACT PP.

If FI, go with the Competition stage 3 and the flywheel.

I've heard the ACT PP + OEM FD combo is good for FI as well.
Is there a reason you recommend the stage 3?
Thanks.

well i know it wasn't in my s2000 but i had a civic with a b18c swap and had an exedy stage 2 with a 7lb flywheel. Took a lot of getting used to. I wish they made that same clutch for the s2000, i loved it. Other than that I don't have any aftermarket clutch experience
