Default Clutch went out... REAL pissed.

Alright guys, after a night of searching I've narrowed down the questions.

I plan to mod the shit out of the car, however alot of it will take place further on down the road. School eats my ass.

SO, that leaves me with something that will not screw with my stock drivetrain but something that gives me a bit more grab than stock.

It boils down to Exedy stg 1 which would be great, I used this clutch on my rsx-s. What do you guys think? I will drive the car daily.... Flywheel I've been told isn't worth changing?

Not to mention, it went out pulling into the garage which was great, but it's HALFWAY IN. Being that it's uphill I couldn't push it all the way in so I'm parked halfway in halfway out. GAY. Will post pics later

i had a exedy stg 1 in my rsx-s too, and i hated it, i thought stock was better IMO.

i'm looking to get a clutch soon too, im thinking about getting either the exedy multi plate clutch or the toda clutch. not sure yet though

I just put in the ACT HD Street clutch with an AP1 flywheel - one of the best S pilots in the valley was surprised at how much grab it has and how easy it was to rev-match and heel/toe.

Science of Speed is literally right down the street (well, a left turn and then a right turn) so I had them install the clutch/flywheel. Great guys, I definitely trust them with any work I need done (disappointed that they don't have a guy for roll-bars anymore). Their shop floor is amazing...handful of NSXs in various states of build/rebuild. A large percentage of the guys who work there drive S's and none of them are young punks that think they know how to tune

The bearings ran $170. $570 for the disc/pressure plate. About 8-9 hrs labor. Saved a lot going to the lighter flywheel since they had a stock AP1 resurfaced flywheel on hand. Swapped the flywheels and they charged me the resurface price.
