Default Competition Clutch?

Hello all! I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the competition clutch stage 2? My clutch is starting to slip and I need to replace it. I don't really care about torque capacity due to the fact I won't be making much more power than stock. I do however want a stiffer pressure plate without spending a ton on the ACT HD. Any opinions?

I have the same clutch except I added a lighter flywheel when I had the clutch installed. Clutch pedal feels like stock and that works for me since my car is also a daily. I've only had the clutch for about 4 months with 1 track session. So far so good....

Loved my stage 2. Pedal feel is like stock it grabs good easy to drive. Held my 400+whp SC setup great! Now upgrading to a stage 4 with my Turbo setup! You will like it. Great clutch!

My experience from DD a stage 2 CC with no hard launches or anything. This happened after a year. I have it framed in my garage with the words DO NOT EVER BUY AGAIN inscribed inside a frame... Maybe I was just unlucky but never again..

My stock clutch blew a hub spring out like yours did. Actually shreaded my rear end gears too when it happened from the shock. Been on a CC stg2 for 6 months now and its sort of stock like. Grabs a lot harder and chatters from a dead stop if your not good on the pedal.

I'd recommend the Comp Stage 2. I installed the same clutch about 6 months ago. Pedal feel is almost stock but it grabs much better. I went with their lightweight steel flywheel as well which was a nice addition. Just make sure you have a good installation and it will be fine.

Definitely a good clutch setup! I'd go with that or act pp with oem disc.

I've had the stage 2 and stage 3. Loved them both.

IMO if you arent making anymore power stick with OEM clutch. its been proven to be reliable.

*EDIT*

to be more specific order one from honda. not the EXEDY OEM replacement. there is a huge difference, the honda OEM clutch spring retainers are way beefier and do not have that clutch buzz.
