Default Clutchless Start

I'm new to the S2K world and I had a question about our clutch. When I had my Civic, I was able to modify my clutch to where the computer thought it was engaged so I could my car without having to press the clutch.

I recently had an expired motor, while I haven't found the exact cause yet it might be possible that I lost a thrust washer. To protect this on my new motor I have decided to "jimmy" the clutch interlock switch so I don't have to push in the clutch upon start-up. Firstly, I'm the only one who will ever drive the car, and I always apply the brake prior to starting my vehicle , so I am pretty confident in my ability to control the vehicle.

I had a spare switch on hand as I had replaced my worn clutch pedal this past winter and I bought a used clutch pedal setup. I took the spare switch and I threaded a cap/acorn nut over the top of it such that it engaged the black tip to keep the switch in the open position at all times. I then connected the new switch to the connector and zip tied it tight underdash. If I ever want to go back to the old setup I can easily remove the secondary switch and just plug the connector into the original switch which is still in place.

TThanks a million Chris! I tried searching but I think my phone isn't allowing me to do a full search. I tried many different keywords. Or maybe I'm just retarded... Idk.
