IDomN8U, I was originally looking at koni yellows re valved for autox with springs. Would you take that setup over the Buddy Club Racing Spec or kw v3's? That's kind of what I've been looking at lately (dreaming about is probably a more accurate term).

I mean, if you get the re valved koni's that is 1200 + springs. So you are talking a similar price range as the other two.

It all depends on how serious you are in saving seconds from your time.

I have limited knowledge in this field, but the racing fourm will surely shed some light.

I would guess that Kw v3's would be comparable to Koni's that are double adjustable but you can specify the valving for stiffer springs.

I would go for the Koni's with 450/420 springs, then get the revalved/double valved after you feel you need more.

1. I want to lower in to reduce the center of gravity, but I want raise suspension-mounting points so the suspension remains in its designed operating range. im not trying to "Slam it"

2. Right now i am casually autocross racer, with aspirations of competing at a national level when I have more money and experience to be completive.

sh!t man the rim size I totally didn't even think about that I was just trying to get wider tires. Can you have wider tires and be in A-stock? i have my older rims, the tires I have are yokohama s drives 225 on the front an 245 on the back on 16in rims. I guess you can tell im very new to this and im trying to learn.

You should probably go to SCCA.com and read the rules.

You can't change suspension mounting points in most of the classes.

With the Koni's, what springs would you suggest? I'll ask the other autox/track guys, too.

Thanks,
