Default Comptech Intake Modifications

Hey guys I've been running my Comptech intake for almost two years now and started to wonder if anyone is doing any modifications to it to allow more air in. I see everyone running an AUT cooling plate with the FIPK, but I know this doesn't apply with this intake. It seems that a custom snorkel is possible with the icebox. It has a huge hole for air to enter so channeling more in seems pretty easy.
Let me see what you got S2KI

Run some hose from the break duct to the intake.

I've looked into this as well...however the area where the CT intake draws air (between the radiator and headlight/fender) has alot of how see etc so and snorkel made would not be able to utilize that total area. Routing a hose like a brake duct front the intake out to the front bumper would be easier and cheapest, but not the prettiest.

Also I highly doubt the AUT plate really does anything for the K&N intake...for it to be truly effective the intake has to be included with the snorkel like a J's, ASM, and spoon snorkel add on.
