Default CompTech intake + strut bar?

So I'm looking into getting a CompTech intake but I also wanted to pick up a matching Cusco cooling plate and strut bar as well as some other Cusco braces.

Would anyone be able to chime in if the airbox fits a Cusco type OS or the carbon fiber ALC OS bar? My little heart might be broken if it doesn't - granted it won't destroy me but I'd like to be matching and the air box doesn't look like it'll universally fit any strut bar? I could be wrong.

Any info on the system's comparability with struts would be appreciated!

It fit with my gpfabrication strut bar which is not made for that intake I would think others would work.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Comptech stop making parts. Unless you find a used Comptech Ice Box how can you get one.

I don't know if it's the same company but they are called CT engineering now, here is the link to the updated icebox http://www.ct-engineering.com/Produc...5/Default.aspx

I'm not sure what kind of strut bar I got but it fits, barely.

I was curious about this as well. But I was looking into getting the asm x brace. How's the sound on the CT intake? I will be ordering one soon. I've read the reviews but haven't found a definitive answer as to what it sounds like.

I'm curious to your curiosity - where do I order one to begin with? I saw that CT wants you to contact them to order. GoTuning doesn't offer the 06+ model.... and Evasive charges $422 for it while CT lists $370.

I was looking on evasive and go tuning too. It's on ct's website and they are also on ebay in the $370 range. I would think that if it was ap1 or a ap2 wouldn't matter.

They have the 06+ model specifically because of the drive by wire system I believe.
