I've got an 08 CR and am in the market for a exhaust and supercharger. My question is will Comptech's 06 S2K exhaust go up without a problem. Also what are the pipe dimensions of the setup. Seccond is their supercharger, I'm aware that it was made for up to an 06 which is when comptech closed the doors but am unaware if there is a signifigant enough difference in just the 2 year gap to push me to another setup. Thanks.

 

Comptech never closed their doors really. They changed names to ct-engineering, just as an fyi (why though I'm not sure). As to your other questions I can't give 100% answers; but I can't see why not? The CR engine bay is the same with potentially more room if you didn't get A/C right? And I don't think the piping below is any different in terms of what fits.

Yea, I'm aware that they never went compleatly out of bussiness. They were bought out and so far as i know they no longer make street parts. I think they are mainly just in the market of race motors now. I've tried to call and ask but I'm deployed at the moment and the phones keep taking a shit so I gave up. Maybe I'll try again tonight.

 

First of all COMPTECH is still around but they are a different entity now. COMPTECH was originally the engine building side and still is. They only work on engines and no longer make aftermarket parts. That is where CT-Engineering comes in. CTE is the aftermarket parts side. Basically the engine building side and the aftermarket parts side separated. They still make parts and AFAIK have an 06+ kit still in prototype mode. Not sure when they will OFFICIALLY come out with the kit. My friend has the prototype kit and so far it's been good.

As far as CARB legality your kit technically is for an 06 so it's not legal. comptech and CTE have different CARB EO's IIRC so if "the man" checks it then your SOL.
