Wondering if the brace originally came completely round from Comptech or if there were any crushed portions (crush bends), particularly the part that is directly over the intake tube/hose. Any firsthand knowledge is appreciated!

Mise was like that too. Its got a little "pinch" right over the intake inlet.

 

thanks for the response! i was just confirming. looks like comptech did that to clear their supercharger intake piping--that portion of the piping seems to be machined flat for clearance.
