Default Considering J's Racing 60RS or 70RS !

Hello Guys, I bought my s2k half years ago. It is 2003 silver. I am considering to get a single exhaust right now. I am hesitating between J's Racing 60 Rs and 70 Rs. It is my daily drive right now. I heard a lot of people say that 70Rs is very loud, but how loud it is when it is cruising? And I know 70 Rs will have a detachable silencer. How loud it is with the silencer?I usually go to track day once a month, I want a nice exhaust sound, and I don't want to annoy my neighbor. Which one do you guys recommend? Plz, help me out. Thank you guys very very much

Why buy an exhaust to install a silencer? Buy the 60rs if sound is an issue. I owned a titanium 60rs for a few years. Amazing sounding exhaust. If I got rid of my current exhaust (Asura 3" dual) I would go with a dual J's 70rs. I am turbo'ed so it wouldn't be as loud as it would be on an n/a. 60rs for n/a applications. I have never been a fan of loud exhausts though.

I have owned a 60RS. Beautiful sound, even better with a testpipe. But it's loud.

a 70 rs would be even louder. I would really stick with a 60rs, if db levels are important for you.

I have a 70rs and love it. Took off my fuji legalis for it. It's loud but awesome sounding. My S isn't my daily though. I can see how it would be bothersome top up or every day

Drove the s to work today...kept the evo in the garage. Truth be told, S is so great and the j's, although loud, is easily modulated through throttle control. Sounds amazing. Do it! Get a hfc if you don't have one already and you'll be golden. The sound really is amazing and I didn't see vtec once.

If youre concerned about your neighbors I would pass on these exhausts.. All my neighbors on my block and about 3 blocks away know when i leave and get back home everyday lol Don't get me wrong they sound great but if you have any sensitive neighbors i wouldn't put an after market exhaust on my car at all..I love my 60rs from the outside but the inside drone and vibrations turn me off unless i have the radio on. I here vibrations from my trunk tray and other parts of my interior i never heard before so in other words my next exhaust will be quieter since i daily drive it everywhere.

It's all relative, but I found my 70RS to be too loud for my liking. Too much drone too IMO and even louder than the Q300 dual I ran before it. I'd like to hear the 60RS in person though. But for now, I am extremely happy with my EVS 70-SSP w/ Berk HFC.
